Communication Platforms
- Google Hangouts & Google Meet: You can use either platform to communicate with one another if you need to for a group project or otherwise. They're both very similar, and once you create a video call, send the link to those who you want in on your call.
- Note: I will use Google Meet with you one-on-one if you need some extra help. Please realize that especially during a hybrid setting, my time is limited, but e-mail me about what it is you would like to meet about and ask about a couple of times that work for you. I'll get back to you and do my best to set something up as soon as I can.
- School Gmail: Check your school Gmail account daily. Aside from class updates that will detail lessons and assignments, I may need to get in touch with you, specifically. I expect you to check your school Gmail during the standard school day hours, as will I. If you e-mail me after the school day, I cannot guarantee I'll get back to you within the same day--it may wait until the next.
- Schoology: Use this website to access all of your classes online. Some of big things to keep in mind that'll I'll use this for are:
- Class updates, complete with instructions and links to items needed for a lesson or assignment (find by going to the course page and then clicking the "Updates" tab on the left-hand side)
- Marking due dates of all assignments (not just summative ones) on the Schoology calendar for all classes
- Facilitate discussions via discussion posts
